Pleasant and soft as velvet. In the nose ripe cherries and moss; on the palate cherries, blackberries and raspberries with a touch of coffee or cacao and vanilla. Very soft tannins and modest fruit acid. A wine that pleases but does not challenge - but it is a good wine for an everyday meal.
