Remarkable ESW from the iconic 2018 vintage. Salmon pink in colour, with a wonderful nose of strawberries & cream, raspberry and biscuit. Fine mousse, with a crisp acidity and a long finish. A balanced wine, that is simply delicious. 5 stars, because I can’t think how this wine could be improved.

Pale in hue, with notes of minerals and subtle red fruits. Piercing acidity is mollified by a silky rich mouthfeel enriched with milk chocolate. The finish is persistent and altogether this is very fine. CHP 93 pts

Salmon pink. Delicate light strawberry nose. Really nice fizz on the front of the tongue. Long. Fresh. Delicate strawberry. Also, a nice fruit of citrus fruits - actually veering towards an orange / tangerine place first and lemon at the end. Nice yeast autolysis notes. Some light biscuit.

I'm not a big fizz drinker Raspberry, yeasty, no edges. Liked it £28. I'd buy it again.

Agree CT original tasting note. Well made West Country rosé fizz with typical though juvenile Pinot Noir backbone. Would benefit from a couple of years more in the cellar to assuage the lively acidity and lend a finer finish. One to watch. Can imagine it beating the French fizzes one day in a blind PN fizz taste off.

89-90 An all together different experience to the Furleigh NV Rosé Brut. Far more fruit forward, higher dosage and less autolytic in character. Delicious, but we preferred the Furleigh. Would be interested to taste in 2+ years more under cork. N: Pronounced fresh raspberry, bruised red apple, fresh fruit dominant. Precise and zippy, subtle baking spice. P: Broad on the palate, pure red apple skin, strawberry and raspberry coulis. Taught, med+ acid, detectible dosage but it works. Fresh but dense. …
