Quite deep ruby in colour Nose is quite herbally: menthol and barky. Also spicy with white pepper and anise on the forefront. Quite light on fresh fruit: a touch unripe with tomato vine, sour red cherries, red apples, raspberry Palate: same herbality, with grainy soft tannins, and cranberry, red cherries

Local Wine Shop Tasting (My average score for April went way down) (Bloomington, MN) : One of the better wines at this tasting but that is saying nothing. Earth, pepper and floral notes. Medium finish and good value.
