Apperance: Clear, deep tawny colour, some legs Nose: Clean, medium intensity, aromas of black fruits, blackcurrant, blackberries, black cherry, some spices, black pepper and some mint, youthful Palate: dry, high acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, flavours of black fruits, black plum, blackcurrant, black pepper, mint, medium finish Conclusion: good wine, drink now as it has limited potential for agreeing (lacks support of tannins), but basically unidimensional, with focus on red fruits and spices

This bottle was considerably more muted and less interesting, less structured than the last one. Not bad just not exceptional.

Very good value. Let breathe 1 hour. Lots of flavours and structure. Good for another year at least.

Anticipating a wealth of fruit, spice, and earth aromas, I was surprised to find the nose on this wine very elusive. Even after letting it breathe for a while, I still wasnt able to really get a strong grasp on what it was about. Unfortunately, I found the palete to be much the same. Vin Simple au gros fruit sans trop de nuance. Nez sur le poivre et le cassis, En bouche, mures et un brin végétal, cacao et boisé avec une finale sur la chauffe, ordinaire!

The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. The body is light/medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity. Renée and I enjoyed it more than other French wines in same price range. Medium strength wine.

Tout en fruit, belle puissance. Pour BBQ ou bouteille de last-call.

Black fruits, floral. OK Douro character. Not much complexity or concentration.

Bright but deep red with some purple tinges. Aromatic nose of dark plum, earth, and herbal and floral notes. Bright and very dry, the palate is well integrated with flavours of dried dark fruits, soil, and oak spice. Tannins are firm, but not over-powering. This is a nice, young drinking red that is a good value wine.

Très bien pour la semaine, +1 RQP, légèrement sur-extrait mais quand même bien fait, un peu tendu, vif, goûteux.
