Slightest bit off (corked), but you can tell there is a good wine underneath

Quizá tuve muchas espectativas con respecto a la uva bonarda. Probaré otro vino con esta uva, para ver que ofrece.

A bit harsh, not sure the blend is fully successful. Not a great deal of aftertaste, and some sharp-ish tannins up front. However, goes well with meat pastas and pizza.

The first nose is like sweet berry jam. Then it disappears and becomes more quiet, I'd say aristocratic. The taste is like condensed fruit drink (without sugar) of black chokeberry, apples and may be cranberries.

Decent for me, am a fan of the producer and picked this up for the underdog grape i like - Bonarda. I trust Ben's note from last fall, but dont get same experience. This is a dark and solid wine, but not earthy/gamey for me. Also the tannins aren't to bad. What i do get on nose and palate is a light but distinct petrol quality - reminds me of some of those classic rieslings...after 1 hr in big glass, …

Deep purple. Dark fruit; black raspberry, black cherry. Full bodied, substantial tannins, quite long finish.

If you like it tannic, you'll like this! Decanted for 30 mins before pouring into a large tulip shaped glass. The color was deep purple almost black, with a full bodied texture. Slightly closed nose with hints of smoke and dark berries. Strong tannins that seem to overwhelm the core of dark fruit making the wine heavy and somewhat dull. Ends with a short finish. Food, the smoked chicken we enjoyed, did not seem to enhance the flavors at all. …

Smoke and gamey. If it was French we would say terroir. Rather intense big stuff. Green as well.

Good, deep-bodied and rich. Nice and bloody with strong taste, but a clean finish. Good wine to drink by itself (or with chocolate).

This had a strong, ripe, burnt bouquet of smoke, charred wood, spice, licorice, cocoa, plum, blueberry and black cherry aromas. The palate was oaky and ripe with strong flavors of charred wood, resinous charcoal, black cherry, blueberry, licorice, spice and cocoa. I found the resinous charcoal a bit unpleasant and wouldn’t buy again.

Very peppery but a little watery, with a light finish. Could use a few years to mellow

Nice violet purple color with a yeasty nose of vanilla, pine, cranberry and sweet purple plums with an undertone of earthiness. On the palate there is tart acid, sharp cranberry and sweet purple plums. Medium tannins. Drink it now but give it some air.

I liked this wine, especially for the price. Nice spice and cherry notes. Enjoyed with chili con carne.

ruby in color, nose is not very complex, some dark fruit. Pleasant, with smooth medium body, some plum and dark cherry on the palate but not intensely flavorful. Perhaps needed some more time. Average wine with good QPR, recommend as a table wine for everyday use.
