Jeremy's German Riesling Dinner #1 - Table 1 (The Laundry, Brixton, London) : Lime and kerosene on the nose from the get go. With air other aromas add to the mix; white flowers, sesame seed, hints of crystalised papaya even a couple of ppm of mint. Very loose cork, fell into bottle as Durand was being gently deployed. Wine showed no obvious effects. Very Mosel Riesling on the nose with some acacia, lemon pith and kerosene. Should drink more of these.

Lemon yellow. Beautiful balance between light citrus notes, fresh Clean acidity and the residual sugar comming through. Nice finish. Have it with light but elegant food.

Per Coravin:Toller Kabinett, spielerisch, saftig, leichte Herbe, nicht zu süß, kräftige Säure, tolle Länge. Top!

Per Coravin: Schöner leichter Kabinett, schönes süße Säurespiel, geschmacklich relativ wenig süße. Korken etwad schimmelig. Eventuell etwas Luft mit in die Flasche gekommen, da ich vorher vergessen habe die Nadel mit Argon zu fluten.

Slightly green-gold colour. Nose of new wellington boots, slightly funky, saline, fresh-chucked oysters, acacia and other white flowers. Palate is bright and fresh off-dry salinity, petrol and very meaty oysters. Still very young but accessible. However, better to re-visit in a decade.

A very nice riesling kabinett. Too young to be fairly assessed. Potential for another 10 years at least.

Light citrus, peachy and sherbet nose. The palate has an instant crisp and off dry intensity. Then the citrus fruit comes through with a little saltiness and then the finish has a clean refreshing acidic zing that totally cleanses the palate and begs another sip. Lively sweet, almost sherbetty nose with faint notes of something more savoury. A live-wire in the mouth, too, with the crisp acidity sweeping in, followed by that sherbetty sweetness. Quite mouthfilling for a kabinett. Decent length. Overall, well balanced and very drinkable.

Citrus, saline and quartz nose. White flowers too. Balanced RS/acid palate, green apple, fruit flavours perhaps a touch simple but brilliant length and intensity.

Riesling Riot downunder (Town Hall, Sydney) : Slightly funky, yeasty, slightly meaty over earth and orchard fruit elements. Juicy, fleshy, very good.

Good fruit, floral, delicate. Quite vibrant on the palate - well balanced, nice minerality, good length. 89-90+
