On the nose, I get lemons, honey, almond, hay, rich but lively. Creamy texture, lush, but vibrant acidity on the palate. Tart lemon and ripe quince fruit, peaches, with honey, toasted biscuits, graham cracker, saline and almond nuances. Just delicious, ripe but stays fresh and focused as well.

Drank with friends, no formal notes but wow, this is banging right now. Fully integrated, juicy and textural acid, sweet brioche, tropical fruit, white pepper and rock minerality. Medium-plus body. Wish I'd kept my first bottle this long.

Should have drunk this when it was young. It has advanced a little and was really just blah. DNF

More educational than satisfying. Clear development on the nose, with a prominent aromas of mentol, white pepper, and kerosine. The palate was more traditional, with peach and green apples flavors. No great indications of oak treatment on this thinning wine, though certainly it received some oak. Hard to detect at 10 years of age. A bit flabby in the mouth too.

Not as dark as expected, rather a light to medium clear gold. Initially a bit of petrol on the nose that blew away quickly. Then, mostly a tropical nose of ripe pear, apple, pineapple, with a very reserved touch of spice and caramel. Well balanced at this age. Deteriorated somewhat quickly after opening (hours not minutes).

Again, this is a very good bottle of chardonnay... old world like with minerals and a Chablis-like crispness, mouth filling.

Mineral, stone, pear, nectarine. This still has a lot of life left to it. A little heavier than what I wanted out of an Oregon Chard.

Took this gem from my cellar after having the 2004 at Wilde Thyme. While not as good as the 2004 it is still a super good crisp laser beam of minerals and stones. Much like its younger brother, the fruit is there and very ripe, and it is just balanced and expounded upon by the minerals. Great grip as well.

For the price I was underwhelmed.

Delicious american Chardonnay. Butter and nuts. Appears a bit heavy. Lacks more acid and structure to gain more freshness and some complexity.
