great mouth feel with very fine tannins. tasted almost of chambolle not pommard... perhaps not the densest wine, but light berry aroma with a bit of the forest floor. just a lovely drink.

This Burg is humming on all cylinders right now. Brambly red fruit, with a healthy dose of forest floor and cooking spice, this wine comes across lighter (13% abv) and more feminine than the 2004 Barbaresco tasted next to it. This Burgundy had gorgeous, vibrant acidity and light tannins, showing a beautiful earthy complexity and a long and delicious finish. Drink now through 2020+.

Delicious. So fresh and vibrant right now. A streak of green through the middle, with subtle strawberry fruit, good complexity. With the high amount of acidity I imagine this will last longer, but damn tasty right now.

Fantastic Burgundy, the Burg of our weekend tasting for sure. Tart cherry fruit hiding behind wet earth, tobacco and mushroom aromas and flavored. Beautifully balanced med+ acidity leads into a med+ to long finish. Delicious.

Med/light ruby red at the core, fading to a light tawny rim. Nose is med intensity, with earth and mineral aromas at the forefront, followed by tart red fruit that has an underlying depth and sappiness, but just perfectly balanced. There is also a spiciness present, and an elegance that shows great pedigree. The palate is enveloping, with med+ acidity and med tannins that support tart red cherry and raspberry fruit, with tobacco, spice box, and wet soil notes. Forest …

Mellanröd, söta körsbär med lite jordighet. Bra struktur med mineraler och syra. Lite kort i avslutet men gifter sig väldigt bra med svampen och den lite söta potatisen.
