Three hour double decant. Super deep vibrant magenta color. Ripe blackberry, plum, dark raspberry, date and macadamia-filled chocolate, and bergamot sage. Smooth, dry palate, with nice acidity. Firm tannins on the longish finish. This remains quite youthful. Even so, it’s already fun and very fruit forward. This could gain a point in the coming two or three years, but I don’t see it getting dramatically better (and it doesn’t necessarily need to).

I didn't want to pour any wines for Agelvis while he was here, that he has or has already had himself. He's gone now...... This one was an afternoon pour for cheeses and football and waiting for our meatloaf to be ready.....it never really made it to the meatloaf, lol. I poured this into a decanter, but right from the 1st sip, we couldn't stop! Rich, juicy, dark purple fruit in the glass.....nose of inky graphite, slight forest floor and …

Delicious wine. Smooth, layered. Caramel and dark cherry flavors. Complex and structured. Sophisticated. Opened up over an hour of drinking it. This is a wow wine.

Nearly four hour decant. Deep dark magenta color. Blackberry, boysenberry, blueberry, orange rind, crushed black walnut, granite, graphite, marshmallow root, and subtle brownie. Dry, satiny palate, with sultry acidity. Full, plush tannins on the longish finish. There’s no potential in my score, but this really needs another year or two to really hit its stride. The fruit is plush and ripe, but also slightly syrupy. There’s terrific complexity for the youth.

Giving very high rating but not going to lie …I thought this was delicious! 😋 Blackfruit and Blueberry fruits, and a long, luxurious finish. Rich, full-bodied, smooth delicate tannins. Yummy! 🤤 I opened the bottle by mistake instead of the 2017 … one of the better mistakes I’ve made in my life…

This is so good. Doesn’t hammer you on the head. Great fruit, nose and weight.

Four hour decant. Blueberry yogurt and graphite up front. Smooth, dry palate. Firm tannins on the longish finish. This is a bit better than my last bottle several months ago. My notes don’t do it justice. Still a baby.

Three hour decant. Very very deep magenta color (apparently no mega purple). Blackberry, boysenberry syrup, angel food cake, cherry blossom, and Earl Grey tea. Dry palate, with vibrant (almost effervescent) acidity. Firm, velvety, medium intensity tannins on the longish finish. This is nice, serious, and already very interesting for a ‘19. The fruit is a touch sappy at the moment. There’s a nice chocolatey vein that snnuck in over an hour of drinking. Looking forward to the next bottle a …

I was not expecting this level of complexity at this point, really exceptional bottle.. packed with black and blue fruit, a great long lasting mid and finish. So glad i have a few more to try over the years... going to try and keep my hands off for a bit.. maybe a year or two.. as think there are better things to come with this!!!

Wow, my first Outpost and this was truly exceptional. Yes, it is very ripe but handled in a perfect wine and balanced by so much fresh herbs and acidity. Exceptional balance from start to the long finish. One of the best young Californian wines I’ve had in a long time. TN: Very intense nose, expressive ripe cassis, dark red berries, minty notes and crushed rocks. Ripe but still with a good balance here. Wow, great on the palate. Ripe dark …

Matter of Taste 100 Point Master Class : During a MOT Masterclass. Excellent Napa CabSav that marries ripe fruit without going overboard. Dark fruit, pine, eucalyptus, sweet spices. Fresh and elegant for its warm site.

Tasted at the Matter of Taste Zurich, Top Rated Wines of 2022 Masterclass. From Howell Mountain, 600-700m elevation hence rather high up. Sweet with a big load of gingerbread, Christmas spice and red and black currant fruit. Vibrant acidity on the palate with a more fresh type of berry fruit. Joe Czerwinski also found pine needle elements that typically speak to Howell Mountain. Delicious, alluring, bold yet precise wine. One of the best 2019 Napa Cabs I’ve tasted so far.

Really nice wine. Did a quick double decant but I imagine this would be good on PnP. Very accessible at this early age. Not overly oaky, smooth velvety tannins. Another reason why I continue to buy this one. So enjoyable.

Had to have another bottle, same as previous bottle, great right now but will get better with a couple years of age.

In a similar place and profile to the Maybach, although it may be a tad better at this stage, still there is a lot of up front in your face oak that needs to come into balance but it’s really tasty at this young age.

Tried at winery while picking up my order. Chocolate notes, astringent and very tight. Perhaps it has closed??? Extremely young and not ready, but curious so sacrificed a bottle.

PNP deliciousness. Dark purple with ruby halo. Dark chocolate, blackberry pie. Full bodied, boarder line hedonism with focus. Silky & creamy smooth tannins. Long finish. I enjoy these wines on the younger side but should cellar well. 96+ Side by side with TV Immigrant. Immigrant needs to integrate and needs more time.
