Granat ist die offizielle Top-Cuvée des Hauses. Die Traubenzusammensetzung dieses Jahrgangs kenne ich nicht und ich wage mal auch keine Prognose 😊 Tiefes, junges Rubinrot. In der Nase eine wunderbare reife und dichte Orgie von roter und schwarzer Frucht, viel Cassis, leichtem Toasting und einem Hauch Menthol. Das ist wirklich sehr schön. Am Gaumen dann trocken und mit einer für 2003 wunderbaren Säure. Sie balanciert zum einen die 14,5% Alkohol wunderbar und sorgt für eine belebende Frische im Wein. Die …

An impressivly strong and bit slick red blend Bordeaux'ish style wine from Württemberg. For me a bit too much slightly superimposed fruit of dark berries and not totally convincing vibration and structure. Still surprisingly young, but for me not so much potential to higher dimesions. Maybe a bit too much oak. Still and interessting wine for sure! Price (approx. 45 Euros) is highly questionable!

From half bottle. Green nose with some pepper and perfume. Palate is very green. Okay, worth a try as something unusual, but has ripeness issues.
