Seductive nose of mature fruit and chocolate, this well made medium bodied wine offers a charming palate, of ripe berries, plum, chocolate and tobacco. A stunning price quality ratio.

La Casa Weybridge. One of my favourite unsung varietals. Wild red berry fruit (as it says on the back label!) with floral nuances. Quite dense velvety structure but with enough acidity to prevent any blandness. Very good (and good value - bonus point) lunch time fare. For drinking young over the next year or so.
