Very crisp and direct. Delicious white fruit. Smooth on the palate, medium finish. I think it is not diminished and last in the cellar for a bit longer. Recommend.

Dinner at Gabriel Kreuther in NYC. Really tasty wine. Great pear notes on nose. Ripe and oaky throughout rest of vertical but still preserves mineral profile. Makes for a great early quaff.

WSET 3 tasting group get together (Utrecht) : [Tasted blind] Correctly identified as a young (2-3 years) Pouilly Fuisse. Typical Pouilly Fuisse, with in my opinion a bit too much oak and noticeably high alcohol. Apricot, tropical fruit, toast, vanilla and some clove on the nose. The oak obstructs some of the fruit, hopefully this will mellow out with time. Medium acidity, long finish

Pnp. Writing from memory. On the nose, underripe pear, white flower, popcorn butter, and a good amount of oak. On the palate, well balanced with a medium body, medium acidity, pretty medium oak intensity. No major flaws. A bit simple and boring though, but can't complain here. Good entry level wine to white burg.

I liked the ripe and fruity style of this wine but the oak was a touch heavy for me. The minerality was lovely. Would gladly drink this regularly if it were a bit cheaper. Edit in October 2022: it doesn’t read at all overoaked in a second bottle. Feels fresh and bright. Still very nice.

Transparent yellow. Very reserved on the nose, showing only really some alcohol. Medium body with medium-to-medium-low acid. Rich lemon curd on the front but a bit of some harsh wood mid-palate and a rather short finish.

Medium lemon in color. Notes of golden apple, pineapple, a hint of vanilla. Dry but ripe on the palate. Acidity is bright and balancing. Medium bodied. I appreciate the minerality in this wine. There is a touch of slate on the finish. But this is still too ripe for me. Very good QPR on this party pleaser nonetheless.
