Oak barrel aged imperial stout. Batch #584, best before 10/2030, 10% alcohol. Dense, deep and concentrated blackish-brown color with a very large and thick but also relatively short-aged, tan head. Bold, noticeably toasty and rather woody nose with rich aromas of caramel oak, some licorice dressing, a little bit of toasty mocha oak, light notes of cold brew coffee and a vanilla hint of Bourbon. Best before 01/2021, 10% alcohol. Quite dense, oily and almost fully opaque brownish-black color with an almost nonexistent and relatively dark cream-colored head that disappears almost instantly. Brooding and very powerful nose with rather sweet-toned aromas of syrup bread, molten chocolate, some dried figs, a little bit of roasted malt, light fruity notes of jammy dark berries and a hint of mocha coffee.
