Very Sancerre-like (happy-making). A "green" component that's more reminiscent of green chile plants than grass. Has a bright acidity, but the acid isn't overwhelming. Good value, definitely worth a repeat purchase.

Rich and delicious with lots of citrus: grapefruit, gooseberry and lime flavors. This is one of the best Sauvignon Blancs I've ever tasted!

Vicar’s Choice (Marlborough 2007, $15). Nice name. Simple gooseberry and grapefruit on the nose. Interesting palate. Tart grapefruit on the mid palate with asparagus, grass, and horseradish on the finish. Not as much acid as I like but still gives you a kick. Good value at $15 B+.
