Eðalklúbbur, haustsmakk #3 2025 (Marbakkabraut 12) : Liturinn er í ljósari kantinum á þessu víni. Í nefinu: Mjög fín lykt í byrjun. Blóm, vanilla. Brunatónar, eik og ávöxtur. Svo kom fram spíralykt sem skemmdi aðeins fyrir Í gómnum: Góð fylling samt frekar þunnt í endann. Þarna mátti finna rauð kirsuber, sítrus (appelsínubörkur). Þarna var líka smá beiskja til staðar. Svo kom kaffi í eftirbragði. Ferskleiki. Ég hefði sett 88-89 punkta á þetta vín alveg í byrjun er eftir að hafa …

This had been decanted for a bit, and it was expressive right away. There is a licorice-tinged backdrop to the nose as it perfumes in the glass with Black Cherries, 5-spice, earth notes, savory herbs, raspberries, potpourri, black fruits, violets, and a touch of liqueur to balance it all out. There is excellent depth and expression as this just permeates in the glass. The Full bodied feel shows off some heft but with a lighter touch as it glides across …

A purple and red fruit potpourri with great stony minerality, distinctive wind swept herbaciousness and a dark floral citrus hint that adds freshness and balance. You get both fresh/lively and dark/brooding in the same sip. There is significant structure here and will only get better - 94++

Decanted for 30 min, sense it might benefit from more. Aroma is strawberries and blackberries soft char and light leather. Lighter body than I expected. Flavor is strawberries and blackberries with a nice layer of char, leather, some cigar box, old wooden building, and some herbal character. Fruit bursts a bit at the end which is odd (but nice) since I usually get fruit most in the front. Medium tannins. Robust yet extremely easy drinking. L+

Pronounced red and black fruits with garrigue, lavender, menthol, liquorice and vanilla. High acidity, alcohol and tannins but all beautifully balanced with great concentration. A treat.

Dark fruited joy. Lively acidity, a touch of menthol and perfectly resolved tannins. Drinking really well right now.

clean bright and balanced, great with food; guessed a young cool climate cab to start, then more typical as it opened up

Amazing. Perfumed nose of ripe dark cherry/blueberry, soil, herbs de Provence + lots of purple flowers. Palate shows similar ripe fruits, cinnamon + very floral. Med + acid. High but silky tannins. Clearly need to explore Priorat more. One of the best wines I’ve had in a long time.

- Purple color - This jumps out of the glass, so much energy. After 5 days in an ipened, vacumed, cooled bottle its still much alive.

Nez de cuir, fruits rouges murs et fraises ecrasees, tres salin et mineral… Loads of super sappy tannin, crisp red strawberries, very very nice snd delicate, refreshing acidity.
