Served around 6 cl. in a short glass of wine with huge slices of lemon and absurd amount of salt aside. 100% blue agave. 42 degrees of alcoholic volume. (random midweek) Sweet et-ol, with a rounder nose than the Silver, spicier grassy agave florals, wood shavings, white pepper and citrus. Somewhat fuller mouthfeel than Silver, oily, sweet and rather more rounded. Lovely finish, gentle and lingering, but exposes some bare wood at the end.

Expensive! A once in a long while splurge. But rich flavour makes for outstanding margaritas. I hope I don't get spoilt with this as I won't be able to go back to regular tequila.

Light yellow color. Pungent agave and key lime scents. My fave Patron, not as smothered in oak as the anejo and smoothly concentrated to titillate the palate. Like a good cognac, it has just enough sweetness to balance the alcohol. channel ORANGE!
