Med palate to pale straw. Chalky mineral citrus. Whetstone, flinty sulphide and a hint of green. Good purity. Very mineral. Rich but acid. Full and tight. Covert rich candy mid palate with long fine acid backbone. Wonderful depth. Far more mineral and flinty than I remember. Great returning to this wine. Lovely.

Praelum - AUSSIE (Praelum Wine Bistro) : Some stones, mint, and peach on nose. Acid and greens, but with a bit of weight to balance, and some peach and grass

Qantas Winter Wine Festival (Town Hall, Sydney) : Ripe apple, slightly candied notes, zesty, fresh…apples, cut grass, difficult to spit. Pretty handy and a good alternative to the standard Hunter fayre.

Shy nose, with mild notes of finger lime, granite, old oak, stale bread, and almond meal. Palate is medium-to-full-bodied; acidity is crisp but stays in the background. Flavours of lime, green apple, and cashew, with a hint of butter.

Moss Wood (Custom House, Circular Quay, Sydney) : very honeyed on the nose, touches of summer meadow and white blossom as well as orchard fruit. In the mouth there is initially a very slight frizzante then honey, apple, slight butter and toast but also some apple skin and a cooler, slightly mint, note is present on the finish.
