This was excellent, but be aware it drinks like an amarone. I don't know if they dry their grapes or if it was just really ripe, but the wine has a delicious raisin aspect to it.

A nose of aged black cherry and some spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with fortified cherry, stewed raspberry, some spice on finish, holds up really well for a 22 year old red. Drink now. www.winelx.com

Rich heady dark port like black plum and pine scented blue/black fruits. Blew me away. Dense chewy meaty and almost sweet this is not for everyone or every occasion but very interesting wine.

Clear pale ruby to the color with slight rim change in the glass. Nose is clean with medium to medium + intensity, smelling like a developed zinfandel to me with fig, walnuts, touch of brandy, ckae bread notes. Acidity is actually still at medium, its still a lively wine, with medium tannins showing. Maybe a bit more tannin then there is fruit to cover the body of the wine. So maybe a bit too evolved? But certainly still delicious. The …

Going, Going Gone. If you didn't drink it by now, it is too late. This was terrible, it found its way done the drain.

Have had many bad examples of this bottle, but this one was pretty good, and very drinkable.

Dense and concentrated with dark berry fruit flavors and hints of cocoa and pepper spice in the aromas. The palate impression is rich and supple; the finish long and creamy. It has the distinctive flavors of Amador terroir that make the region so special. Aged in 100% French oak.
