Lush and complex with some umami, traces of olive, riding a wave of cherries and blue berries. Shortish finish.

Needs about 30min of air still to show its stuff. 5 Star QPR still to this day. Great juice for this price.

Another solid wine from Two Vintners. 3rd wine I've had from them and all have been impressive. Flavorful well balanced syrah. Pleasurable and went down fast.

As I said in my previous review this wine needed time. This is much improved from a year ago. A super solid representation of WA syrah for 20 bones. Also one I look for on local restaurant menus as it’s dependable by the glass.

Big, purple, and pleasant. Black fruit and violet notes - not getting much pepper or overpowering tannins, as may have been expected from a relatively young Syrah. Not too much going on but good for the price and a nice week-night sipper.

An annual buy for me for the last 3-4 years. From Boushey, dineen, discovery, Olsen, Stoney vine and yellow jacket vineyards. Tried this wine on two different occasions both with a Pnp and with a long decant. It’s obviously very young and really must be decanted at this stage. It’s sort of muddled and an unfocused syrah blend. Lots of blackberry and blueberry with great intensity. The wine is a great Tuesday night quaffer and is even better on Wednesday …

Drinking really well, has developed good balance with a slight funk on the nose.

Popped and poured at the end of the night. Not sure if it was the hour, but this bottle wasn't nearly as savory as the previous one. Much more black/blue fruit oriented. Maybe just a phase. 88pts.

Decanted for about an hour. Gorgeous dark color out of the bottle with classic syrah aromas like pepper, blackberry, currants, and a pleasing underbrushy-ness. Medium bodied and loaded with a juiciness that enlivens ye olde taste buds. Lots of dark berries covered with a savory note that keeps everything in balance. If you desire a new world syrah with francophile leanings, then this is your wine. Huge QPR winner at $21! 92pts.

Meaty nose accented with some dark fruit. Full bodied & fruit forward with blackberry & plummy fruit with a ton of black pepper. A pleasant fruity Syrah with medium plus acidity & great length on the finish. Very nice.

Another stellar Two Vintners Syrah. Pepper, herbs, terroir, and some pleasant stinkiness on the bouquet. The nose and taste profile are reminiscent of Tuscan Syrah offerings. Great weight and substance. Rounded and nuanced, from the attack through an ample finish. Well-structured, lasting finish of pepper, herbs, and minerality. Crazy QPR! Likely to show up a lot of $40+ WA Syrahs. 90-91.

Baking spice and blackberries. Very drinkable now with opportunity to integrate the barrel flavored with the fruit over time.
