Still very good: excellent concentration of citrusy fruit, pretty balanced, just a lick of well-judged oak. Made a lovely pair for chicken in a creamy sauce. Very grown-up and would outcompete many a 1er cru.

Off the subs' bench to replace a corked Corton, and performed with aplomb. Exquisite balance and integration, and simply mouthwatering, with intense concentration from 90yo vines, the warmth of the vintage and a smidgen of new oak combining to make something incredibly attractive. Honeycomb and pineapple on the attack, some smoke coming through, then saline and stony on the persistent finish. Hard to imagine getting bored of this.

Wine Society Burgundy Grower's Tasting : Very nice if this is your thing. A great level of complexity and delineation here: it's ripe and opulent, lots of French oak character, but also some minerality, fresh acidity, very persistent on the finish.
