Peel Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Drunk by V64 committee and confirmed earlier notes of disappointing length after a promising nose and initial palate.

V64 Meeting (Gala Restaurant, 22 Kearns Crescent, Applecross, W Auatralia) : This wine was decantered and served and initially presented very well, with true Cab. Sav nose, with the associated baggy, age characters of a wine this old. The palate showed smoky, charred flavours, with dried berry / cassis blended in.
