Meulenhof Erdener Prälat Riesling Spätlese Auction

After opening three bottles, two were drinkable but slightly off, with muted fruit (not at all a Kabinett quality of fruit), a bit of spritz, and a faint chemical note. The third bottle tasted strongly of paint thinner or acetone. I believe this wine was either contaminated in the cellar or ruined during shipment.
