As previously indicated: "A Rioja Viura rumoured to be blended with Garnacha Blanca and perhaps Verdejo, we enjoy sipping this easy-peasy, light, slightly oaked and citrussy flavored white, particularly when chilled like an equally light champagne. Simple, satisfying and a great palate-preparer for the bigger wines to come!" We dropped our rating as we thought a touch of unwelcome oak on the palate spoke to the likelihood we caught this unique wine a few months before being relegated to kitchen …

Majority Viura with 10% malvasia. Not like ldh. Way less Oxidized. Definitely got barrel. has rhone aromatics and sauv blanc acid. Don't know other wines like this. I had this young at the winery on oct. 2013 and now about 1.5 years later in the states. It definitely evolved over that time. Fuller and rounder now. Good wine for the price.

Pale golden color. Delicate, clear nose of citrus, apple, and tropical fruit. Palate brings hint of viura vinous petrol, then rolls into a longish juicy finish with enough arugula grip to make things interesting. A rather light-footed viura with a place among the region's more pungent (and expensive) beauties. Outstanding with dilled wild-caught salmon, roasted vegetables, and sharp gouda. Excellent QPR.

Got left in the freezer on Saturday night. Found it on Sunday resealed and let thaw. Silvery golden straw colour. Lanolin beeswax hay and lemon aromas. Medium weight with a touch of fruit skin tannin. Bright crisp slightly herbal flavours of pear and lime peel with a touch of beeswax. Lots of flavour and aroma in a sleek frame. Oak is not instrusive.

Melon, lime, banana and slight white currant on the nose. Some vanillary oak and cream. Dry and very acidic palate with ripe green-toned tropical leaning fruit. Some leesy richness and ripe fruit, but the acidity brings a metallic bite to the palate. Long. Rather intense for the price point, but could use a bit more time to relax.

Clear and bright, pale lemon-green colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and developing, with medium intensity aromas of green apple, pear, banana, walnut and hints of anise. It's off-dry in the mouth, with medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol, medium body and medium intensity flavours of green apple, banana, walnut, cream and hints of vanilla. Medium+ finish. It's a good quality wine, refreshing and with all elements in a good balance, but it lacks complexity and typicity. Drink now, …

Paille très clair, pratiquement transluscide. Au nez, noisettes, caramel au beurre. En bouche, beurre et caramel, soyeux avec une touche d'acidité pour équilibré le tout. Pas très long, mais bien agréable.

Blend of 90% Viura with 10% Malvasia. Macerated for 8 hours prior to fermentation and then fermented in new French barrels. After three months on its lees the wine is bottled. Brass coloured displaying dominant golden apple and pear aromas with a refreshing palate despite the round, slightly unctuous texture. Accents of vanilla flavours add a favourable touch.

Gold hue. Nose full of stonefruits, butter, popcorn. Fullish. Not that interesting.

Fruity up front, it opens up into notes of green melon, pear, citrus, in quite a dry, almond-tinged palate. There's oak, to be sure, and at first I think...chard drinkers would like this...but it's not too much, and with air it becomes much more varietally typical.

Pale steely green; waxy nose of melon, apple, almost green tea; full bodied, waxy, same fruit as nose; good acidity keeps this light on its feet; overall a very interesting wine and quite tasty.

Bright and quite powerful tropical fruit filled nose. Ripe and almost a little candied with a pure pear drops flavour. Simple and enjoyable but feels a little heavy and lacking a bit of freshness for me.

Barrel fermented. Rather big and ripe fruit. Oak. Generous with lots of acidity.
