A soft, broad style of Chenin Blanc somewhat reminiscent of the Chenin Blancs made by Dick Graff at Chalone in the 1970s. Dry and round with good mouthfeel, its only drawback is that its low acidity may keep it from developing further. Nevertheless, a fine sipper.

Bottle 1352g. (Why?) Aromas of elevated intensity, waxy, soapy, lactic, citrus. Dry, with pronounced mouth-watering acidity, phenolic bitterness, medium-bodied, 13% abv. Saline, with flavors of yogurt and thyme. I love chenin, but this one's a shrug.

Citrus and pear on the nose. Good pale straw color. Balanced acidity and medium body with bright minerality with pear and melon fruit notes. One of the better whites I’ve had in recent memory. Would go great with many dishes.

Very vibrant and aromatic with medium plus acidity Long grippy finish this is a really tasty wine and a great price point. Aromas of white peach, citrus, white and yellow flowers, sourdough, yogurt, raw almonds, just a touch of that typical wooly/ lanolin chenin note on the palate. Feels a touch bigger / fuller than something you’d find from the loire valley but with all the energy and drive.

Really enjoy this. Wife loves it, as well. Aroma was immediate freshly pressed apple juice. Palate is bright, fresh and with excellent acidity.. Some honeydew melon & minerality. Nice finish with some herbal notes

Accolades to L'Ecole No. 41 for planting and vivifying this noble grape dating back to the 9th century of humanity's history. Chenin Blanc is a peer of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. I won't detour to debate the merits of Pinot Gris or Riesling, there is room for all of the grapes and wines, all of which I have benefited from. This is smooth, light, gulpable and not complex, but oh what a wonderful wine. Highly recommend. I purchased additional bottles. …
