started off with an oily texture and white peach/ tropicals with light florals, a touch oily. While it remains a wine of texture the oiliness goes away with time, gets leaner and takes on more Chenin-esque aromas while retaining its body. Quite a nice one with good development and should age well too.

Very enjoyable, served as the opening wine at an otherwise all Tempranillo event. Sweet fruit, although a dry wine.

My only previous experience with this wine was the 2014 vintage, comparing the two, the 2022 tasted sweeter, almost off-dry, and less acidic.

Waxy, cheesy, and slightly sweet fruited nose. Melon and cheddar. Missing something for my taste...maybe a bit of acid and drive. Not an unpleasant drink at all, but perhaps just not my speed for the price.

Big for a white wine. Part of a white wine night with my wine group. A long way from Chardonnays. And I mean that in a good way. Still very drinkable at 9 years past the vintage.

The white wine started at a budget priced Spanish wines night with my wine group. This was served chilled and the entire group enjoyed it, especially the Anything But Chardonnay people. Reminds me of a Northern Rhone white.

The opening wine at a Turkish restaurant wine night with my wine group. Very enjoyable. I had misplaced these in my cellar, so they have sat for longer than I would have liked, but it didn't matter as it is drinking very well, and I'm sure it has a few years of life ahead of it!

The opening wine at a Merlot and Paella night with my wine group. It was served chilled and most of us had it before the Paella arrived. A weird and unusual wine, we all loved it! Beautiful minerality, notes of fruit that I couldn't indentify. A great way to start the evening.

Had this with my wine group as a starter wine before an Italian meal. Very much enjoyed by everyone.

I shared this with my wine group and we all enjoyed it. We had it slightly chilled. Unlike my previous bottles, I didn't pick up any notes of peaches, but there was some minerality to the wine, along with some flavors that remind me of a Sherry.

This was a big hit with my wine group. Most of us had ever had (and I'm quoting the WA review) "the white mutation of Cariñena, a rare variety called Cariñena Blanca." Notes of peaches and stones, and not a lot of acid. It has a medium length finish.

100% Carinyena Blanca. This is a very unique wine and one any wine geek would enjoy. I got very similar aromas to that of a Fino Sherry. On the palate, the wine is slightly oxidative with flavors of stone fruits, almonds, and minerality. Definitely worth seeking out.

Nose of pears, very fresh, hint of vanilla, grilled hazelnuts… High acidity and mineral, very dry finish, seems even a bit tannic, a hint of greenness in the finish
