On the palate this has riffs of dried berries, coffee and leather. Tannins have started to integrate, but the wine has legs to go another three years with style. It’s a big wine with 14.5% ABV.

Gets better with air. Sugary and over extracted at first. Evolves to show dark red fruit, green spices, and a long finish. Might wait a while on the other bottles.

Day one this was very herbaceous with red fruit in the background. Day two was more fruit forward, day three was the most balanced. Drink over the next few years.

A good wine, but not cab-like. Berry qualities more like a zin, or maybe a temp. Develops nicely as it airs out.

$30 is a little overpriced. Beautiful dark purple, oak and pepper aroma. Mildly tannic on the tongue with nice sweet/acid balance. Dark ripe cherries and currants flavor. Sweet finish. Zin-like.
