Kennedy Shah (Woodhouse Wine Estates) Mourvèdre Rose Columbia Valley Elephant Mountains

The label was misleading as it didn‘t give any clues about the quality in the bottle. Light aromas of strawberry and watermelon greet your nose and suggests lavendar and rose florals. The wine slides over the palate with rich glycerins and leaves a light dusting of Tasmanian Pepperberries on the back of the palate. Not a complex wine, as roses rarely are, but more substantial than expected.
