This 7 year old Zinfandel is still drinking nicely. Showing red and black fruits with chocolate notes, tobacco, earth, herbs, spices and peppercorn. Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and a spicy finish. Dry on the palate and easy drinking. High in alcohol, so watch out. Good right out of the bottle and good by itself or with food. Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim. Fruity nose of black currants, black cherries, blueberries, wood, earth, licorice, vanilla, chocolates, coffee and peppercorn. Medium plus in body and smooth, with medium acidity and long legs. Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, coke, tobacco, chocolates and black pepper.
