Received a partial bottle from my oenophile neighbor 15.3% abv Had a glass with Garlic Chicken Pizza. Dark red on the pour; Opaque in the glass (some sediment in the bottle). Nose of Raspberry, Cassis and Dark red fruit. Full-bodied and Hearty for a Cabernet Sauvignon; Robust with Cherry prominent on the palate. Grippy tannins, yet not harsh. Nice acidity for a pleasant, lingering finish. Spouse endorsed.

Needs to be opened for at least two hours before. Great nose at open but super tight and needs a lot of air under it

First sampling of the several purchased thru Last Bottle, and a pleasant surprise. Crushed stone, oak and graphite on the nose, nicely balanced on the palate. Dark fruits aren’t concentrated but are flavorful and well-incorporated with silky tannins that coate nicely. We found this solid and approachable right out of the bottle, and it’s improved a bit with almost 2 hrs of bottle air. Great value at $39, not certain this has long-term potential but have a few more to …

Young still and fruit forward. But a lot of the deep complexity developing characteristic of Howell mountain

Wow, dark wine. Perfumed floral nose when first opened. Nice depth. Chocolate on the finish.

This one did not seem as vegetal as the last bottle. Dark blackberry flavors, but even after a 2 hour decant, the wine was tight. Nice finish.

Very young. Needs between three and five years before I would drink again. Right after opening, the nose was slightly vegetal. After two hours, began to show signs of Cabernet fruit - but still tightly woven. Medium body, acidity and tanins. All reasonably balanced, just hard to get the fruit to shine. The next day, the fruit surfaced, and it started to show a bit of oak tobacco, dark fruits, earth. Very pleasant. This is still a teenager wine. Give …

Faint eucalyptus. Dark berry flavors. Medium finish. Tannins are smooth and light. Light plum finish.
