lovely complex wine certainly sweet but perhaps lacking in some acidity - would probably drink sooner rather than later

Only one question: Where is the acidity? 92 based on an absolute standard taking other varieties into consideration

Amber clour, nose very silent, taste more burnt caramel than I expected, but with a lot of flavoirs and complex. Most say I was dissapointed.

This stunning sweet wine offers intense concentration, extremely high sugar levels and a blast of bracing acidity keeping everything up on your palate, and never allowing the wine to become cloying. The purity of fruit in the ripe and over-ripe apricots, orange and white peach all slathered in honey is a treat, indeed. I was happy there was wine left in the bottle for a second glass!

Amazing wine. Beautiful amber color, creme brulee, honey layers and layers of complexity. Sipped on this all day and paired beautifully with a pumpkin cheesecake in the evening.

Almond, honey, and creme brûlée. Viscous with mandarin orange and thick sweetness. Medium finish. At a nice place.

Amber orange like the color of Tuaca. Honey and stone fruit with a hint of citrus. Rich and delicious, goes right up to the line of being cloying but doesn't cross it. 750 held up well over 5 nights of enjoyment.

A honeyed, opulent nose of apricots and fresh squeezed peach juice, very intense while avoiding the tendency for PG to get fat. Hugely acidic, almost racy, and while this is a monster in size, it is a deft monster, unctuous, fresh, deep and delicious. 94 pts

Blind Night (Mattias) : Orangish yellow color. Tastes of orange, cherry, honey and pineapple. Medium bodied. Well balanced. Short elegant finish. Tasted blind. My original guess was a Kracher. Provided by Mattias.

we're so lucky to have multiple opportunities with a wine such as this...third go 'round in just half a year or so reminds me of the group generosity. rich, unctous, and mildly restrained with the RS, i liked that this is not over the top and has that sense of restraint under the hood. drinking beautifully, and should maintain such a level for many, many years. very nice.

WOW!!! This is very serious stuff!!! Amazing how all the ripe fruits (apricots, oranges, peaches...) and aromas (vanilla, caramel, spices, cinnamon...) complement each other in such a grand way, and with a freshness background that cleans up your mouth after each sip!!

es dinner at my place (Copenhagen, Denmark) : Surprisingly mature. Botrytis, peaches, orange, honey, spices. Rich and rather mature palate of yellow fruits, orange, honey and lime. A nice wine, but lacking a bit of complexity. I would have preferred a bit more minerality. Went very well with creme brulée.

Stunning! Nose of peach, pear and honey on an ultralight frame that drank more like a dry wine than SGN. It was finished dry (11.2% alcohol) and it really showed. Nice.

Dinner with Paul Jaouen (Guiseppe's on 28th, Phoenix) : Dark orange color. Citrus nose. Tastes of tangerine, orange, honey, lemon and lime. Rich with great mouth feel and lots of body. Super complex finish that literally lasts for minutes. Out of this world good. My WOTN.

interesting to reprise such a generous contribution so close to the last tasting. a lovely wine that lacks only the mildest of structural necessity to push it into the outstanding realm.

G7 (Kevin) : From 375ml. Yellowish orange color. Citrus nose. The palate shows orange, lemon, honey, lime and bees wax. Excellent balance and acidity. Nice mouth feel. Rich, elegant finish that lasts for over a minute.

Purchased at a good price from PC, so I decided it might be worth checking in on this 375ml. Unquestionably a ZH wine by the nose alone, playing that certain exotic and rich depth of stone fruits, marzipan, and honey, framed by just a dab of mineral. The 145 grams of r.s. is certainly obvious if not out right dominant, in this youthful dessert wine; but no real surprise when considering the vineyard (Rotenberg almost always conveys a high lever …
