Good overall tasting of an unspecified red blend. Although soft & smooth, the fruit flavors seemed fatigued and a bit faded. It appears that the wine has certainly gone beyond its prime drinking time, but it still has enough to offer & enjoy.

Used most for cooing, but drank a little. Used in Bobby Flay's roast standing rib roast with thyme aus jus. Nice mouth feel. Drink up if you have any.

Very dark and powerful purple in the glass. Nice nose of dark fruits and what reminds me of a typical pipe tobacco blend, with muted notes of burnt sugar. On the pallet, very dominant tannin with a less intense acidity. Got better with decanting. Nice big ripe dark fruits on the palate, with a hint of dark chocolate lingering on the long finish. Amazing QPR

Good new wine for me. Dark purple color. Nose of dark berries, rain, and cedar. Big flavors of black fruit like blackberry and plum. Very big anise/black licorice notes. A nice change of pace for a red wine.

Ok, not great. Heavy flavor of black licorice candy. Dark berries & prunes. Unusual.
