Sample tasting at work (Oinoscent) : 70yo vines from Megalochori, 4 acres, 14% The wine shows med to high intensity, flinty, smoky, citrus, citrus peel. There is some sort of ripeness underneath. Palate is bright, high intensity, very salty, mineral, high acidity, the fruit is riper, citrus fruit, grapefruit, warmth from alcohol, edgy, rather difficult to have on its own as it is, med to long finish It does feel to lack density right in the middle.
