Very nice medium-red when it's on sale.

People suggest that this wine is flat & undrinkable. I like it. Simple, yes. Yummy with a simple salt & pepper strip steak, yes. 50th anniversary gift, no. It has a little smokey flavor that I liked with the (kitchen) grilled meat. I'll buy it again.

N: Earth, berries, jamminess with a touch of pyrazines? Possible complexity? What I'd describe as "common" Central Coast aromas. P: MF body; A touch of jammy swtness on the front end with notes of spice. Finishes firmly -- & not particularly pleasantly. Day 2: Fruit down somewhat, finishing astringency even more so. Nonetheless, IMO there's no particular redeeming value here as it's certainly NOT "delicate", nor does it have the BALANCED power to satisfy the "Pinot for Cab lovers" stereotype. …

Upon opening it was red, liquid and alcoholic. Nothing to indicate this was a Pinot Noir. After 45 minutes it became worse. I will not buy again.

Had this as part of a $10, $15, $20 California Pinot Noir tasting. This was the $15 and scored the worst. The only one I wouldn't drink again.
