Mid gold colour with good collar and persistent bubble train. Pretty large bubbles. The brioche nose evident in previous bottles is barely present - in fact very little on the nose. Palate is still in balance - quite inclined to lemon curd. Little one dimensional - this has been a tremendous cuvee in its day - and this maybe a rogue bottle but it may be time to drink up?

A mature, biscuity delight. Will hold for a bit longer, but not sure it gets much better from here

Slightly ungainly on opening, with a brioche nose but a slightly bitter aftertaste, this settled down after 30 minutes and a bit of warmth from the cold of the fridge (I know, my bad). Persistent small bubbles and a clean refreshing acidity worked beautifully with the gentle fruit. Delicious and just getting into its stride now…

Gorgeous rich, bright rich Pinot / Chardonnay blend. In a great place with perfect balance.
