Savoury dominant - olives and herbs. Pleasant if a bit simple.

Colour is shifting into garnet with 8 years of age now. Stewed red cranberry, cherry, and plums, vanilla, cedar, with nuisances of forest floor. All underpinned by a backbone of silky sage. The palate however is tad disappointing in comparision, still a little tart albeit in better control now, but somewhat lacking on descriptors. Length drops off a bit. Reasonably inoffensive but would expect a little more for price point. Drink over the next few years.

I am all over the shop with this wine, constantly changing my mind... Tart and tangy red fruits still, and that underlying aroma of sage has finally been identified by Mr Halliday. His review is quite accurate actually. Previously I just could not put my finger on it. I actually still dont mind this wine, tastes better than it smells, but I still question its RRP. Drink by 2021

Previous score a little harsh, this has developed to quite a nice wine now. Drink over the next 3 years say.

Drank after a Tatiarra Cambrian 05, so a hard act to follow. Tart red fruits, underripe raspberry and red plum, dry and quite astringent. Not bad, good medium finish. Nice but not the RRP. Let it settle another year or so but drink until 2021
