The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cherry and black pepper. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity. Good with pasta and chocolate.

This Pinot was highly aromatic on a nose with powerful fruit, good flavor, proportional balance, medium acidity, firm tannins, medium body and lingering length. Style: intense. Flavors we picked up were cherry, blackberry, spice and earthiness. We scored it at 90, but a nice slice of smoke Gouda can bring it a couple of points up - balancing it out and enriches flavor. We probably will not get it again unless we have a bountiful cheese platter to drink along …

Decant this one, let sit for a few hours. Light ruby color. Little bit of pepper spice aroma and flavor. Light red cherry flavor with some spice. Very nice.
