Light ruby red with aromas of red fruit and some wood. It was balanced, dry, smooth and had flavors of light plums and spices. The aftertaste was medium and clean. It is drinking very well and needs to decant for a little while to open up.

A great value in a fruity, medium-bodied Nebbiolo. This tastes far better then a $22 italian wine with good character and a medium finish.

Outstanding Nebbiolo! Medium weight and good body. Rich dark fruit flavors and a well integrated acidity. This ins't the thin, tart wine you expect for a $25 barbaric or a Langhe Nebbiolo. It has the body and complexity to be interesting and remind you on the palate of a good rich barbaresco such as Cortese's Rabaja. This is very good wine and one of the best was to get Nebbiolo in a bottle for less than $25. Yum!

this is a lovely fairly light nebbiolo. Still good tannins that paired well with smoked grass fed short ribs.

Is there such a thing as a "Baby Barolo?" If there is, this is it! All the attributes one usually associates with Barolo, but in a younger, fresher package.
