Deep ruby color, great nose. Big fruit bomb. Not your typical Syrah. Nice finish. Everyone enjoyed it. Paired well with sausage, bacon and pancakes at the shrove supper for Fat Tuesday. Go figure.

Rescued from my brother’s cellar(aka garage). This was a fun drink. Pure table wine. Plummy fruit with hints of bell pepper(normally not a good thing). Just an easy going bottle.

This surprised me for a Merlot - lots of body with a nice long finish. None of the green pepper that offends me in a Merlot 😄 Berry jam up front with some pepper in the finish. Supple and viscous, I really enjoyed it.

Nice blended Merlot from Paso Robles area. Rich and complex wine. The wine looks violet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant and cranberry. It tastes like cranberry, raisin, plum and cherry. The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Doesn't taste anything like a syrah... but its wonderful: rich spicy wine with lots of satisfying oak but a slight racy quality near the finish that makes the whole wine feel like a rich, well made napa petite syrah, maybe a red fruit napa zin... but not syrah. Still merrrits a 90 point from me since is a pleasure to drink. I drank in mid 2023 but please hold on another year and it will be even nicer.
