Getting long in tooth. Hints of former self with some nice minerality and dark red fruit, but grew more towards prune and plum losing freshness rapidly on open. Crunch kind went by the wayside. 88 to start with slide after.

Nice, dark red fruit, more towards black cherry, plum, earth, wood. Moderate full body, balanced, not exactly crisp, and perhaps more than ready, but overall quite good. Drank over two nights, definitely best day 1.

Very pale. Slightly brambly aromatics. Light red, briar fruit, balanced with dusty finish. Better than most Bourgogne.

This, as usual, boxes well above its class. Very ripe and fresh fruit (all in a good way), but more overall complexity and class than one might expect. Exceptional QPR.
