Captivating, deep floral nose, which also has rich and ripe nuances of peach, apricot and raspberry. Hits of white pepper, honey glazed doughnuts, salty minerality and a fine green herbaceousness contribute to the fun this wine brings. The intense, unctuous, yet quite dry palate preserves the happy mean between Riesling and Gruner Veltliner. Really wonderful stuff. Ready now. 17.5-18/20

short note: a dense and powerful wine with oily texture mixing herbal and spicy flavors and tropical fruit notes, but there is something austere and vegetal on the finish that I found distracting but I couldn't put my finger on it. Soy? Maybe? A unique wine worth trying. - 88 points

Rather reticent on the nose with clean fruit hinting at tropical direction. Pineapple, citrus and slight yellow florals. Dry, slightly oily and pretty fullbodied but wonderfully light on its feet. Gunpowder, umami, textured soy. Long minerally finish. More concentrated than other Wieninger wines I've had, but again wonderfully precise and clear in its innervision.
