Kalyra Gewürztraminer El Forte

Bought at the winery in 2011 or so, tucked it away and forgot, and there it was tonight when we were looking for something to sip on. Remember finding it really nicely balanced when we first tasted it. At this point, it is a bit past its prime -- the bright, fresh acidity has dissolved somewhat, and the primary flavor notes are caramel apple and a touch of peppery/smokiness.
