Best after 30 minutes, and started breaking down after 60. Still a little rough (due to the acidity?), but the tannins are nicely dry, and the blackcurrant and blueberry flavors are persistent and not overly sweet. The 15% alcohol is also surprisingly not overwhelming, at least upon opening. Might actually get better in another 2-5 years. 87-88+

15% alc. Big burly rich shiraz. A little bit grapey to my taste, but overall good balance - others really liked it. Was much better on its own. Overwhelmed the venison.
