Definitely the flavor profile we prefer for Sancerre: crisp, tart, green apple, lemon/lime, grapefruit, some floral notes and grassy on the finish. Refreshing. Good acidity. Weight on the palate and finish. Delicious on its own or with grilled salmon.

Light gold in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of lemons/limes, stone fruits & quince with overtones of floral & mineral notes, chalk, flinty, some herbs & a hint of grassiness in the background. Light bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, zesty, ripe fruit flavors of lemons/limes & grapefruit with minerals, stony & herbs. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present although it should continue to develop slightly further with additional …

Popped, poured, consumed over next 60 minutes. Has developed and improved. Continues to impress, wish I'd bought more.

The fifth time to taste this wine. This time, aromas and flavors of white flowers, orange blossom, peach, grapefruit, lemon, chalk; the grass is subdued. Crisp with a decent concentration of fruit. Nice acid and balance. This time, it pairs well with baked Swordfish. There are a few years of time left in this wine.

Retasted after a flawed bottle. The hue is as clear as previous. Nose of a classic French sauvignon with green lemon peal and green apples. Mouth straight, a bit green, ending on strong mineral notes. someone would find some white flowers like lily. The wine is very good and a bit to young. Medium to long after taste. Buy and keep.

Judgement of Six Fours, France vs. Spain. Blind tasting. Twelve tasters. Crystal hue. Nose disturbing of strong animal notes as obstructed toilets. Mouth completely different , straight sharp and mineral. Flavors of cereals, chick peas, and white flowers. Most tasters admire the style despite the defective notes. Avg rate: 12.8/20

Blind tasted. Stinky cereal nose with the excess water from soaking chickpeas - yes, that's right! Luckily, these organic aromas slowly dissipated. Very mineral mouth with wet pebbles, grapefruit. This is austere and needs patience but is a classic terroir wine.

Still quite similar to my prior tastings. Crisp aromas of white flowers, grapefruit, orange blossom, lemon, minerals (including chalk), delightful grass. Similar flavors. A good amount of fruit and crispness in the mouth. Elegant and enjoyable. Nice balance and acid. Again, a long and mineral-like finish. Would be a great quaffing wine on its own; this time though, it pair very well with scallops. Score 91-92.

Insanely good at this price (sub $20), offering up plenty of crushed rocks, minerals, white pepper, mown hay, oyster shell and sea breeze, with flavors largely following the nose. A mouthfeel, precision and purity that speaks well above its price-point. A must have for anyone seriously interested in top QPR's of the region and grape. highly recommended

Popped and poured, singing from the start. Other than that, consistent with previous notes. Delicious. Perfect with raw oysters.

For the most part, similar to my last two evaluations of this wine. A light straw color. Aromas of white flowers, grapefruit, orange blossoms, lemon, minerals (including chalk), subdued grass. Similar citrus and mineral flavors. An adequate amount of fruit in the mouth. Smooth and delightful. Nice acid and balance. A long minerally finish. This time I paired the wine with Vermilion Rock Cod cooked with various herbs, not including anything hot. It pairs a lot better than my first …

Popped and poured. Started off a little simple and incomplete, but within an hour filled in and unveiled an elegant and seamless tapestry with threads consisting of various citrus flavors, green apple skin, a hint of white peach, and a touch of sour grass stretched over a frame of saline minerality. Really nice.

Much the same as when I last tasted it about two months ago. A lite straw color. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon, orange blossoms, white flowers, chalk, minerals, SB grass. This time I got more of a normal dose of grass on the nose. Average concentration of fruit in the mouth. Good acid and balance. This time I got a touch alcohol on the back palate. I liked the wine a little better last time. Probably needs some more time to …

A lite straw color. An earnest and elegant nose, with aromas of grapefruit, lemon, lime, white flowers, chalk, lots of minerals; not as much grass as you would normally expect for a Sauvignon Blanc. Not real big fruit, but adequate and succulent in the mouth. Good acid, balanced. A nice long minerally finish. Pairs decently with baked cod, with a mild Creole sauce. Still, this is a great quaffing wine in its own right. Score 90 with food; 92 by …

This is really good with a mineral filled nose, intense lemon and grapefruit with grass notes, but not overly herbal. Great balance and acidity, perfect for summer.

This is a great Sancerre--steely, citrusy, acidic. Perhaps it is as good as Sancerre gets.
