De Vescovi Ulzbach K500

I thought this would gain in complexity and become more interesting with age. The trajectory was flat over the last 3 years, though this did evolve into something a bit more mature. I just started picking up some slight oxidative notes, so this is on the downslope clearly, though very early into it. I did store this very girthy bottle in a cellar space at 55F the whole time. On opening, quite acidic and dry, but fleshes out nicely as it warms to around 45F and gets some air. I believe the label says this is 100% pinot Nero, but if you placed it in a lineup of a number of better non vintage or mid tier vintage champagnes, this would actually hold its own.
