Burgundy color with a bouquet and flavor of muted raspberry and Pinot Noir spiciness. Fair balance with modest nuance. Not great, but very drinkable and not unpleasant, and I am ashamed to say, better than many vaunted Burgundy reds that I have tasted over the years. Went well with the braised oxtails at our favorite Vietnamese restaurant, with Hurricane Harvey wreaking havoc on Texas.
