Interesting, given the age it is still pretty tanin heavy. I think decanting for a couple of hours makes a big difference. Nice earthy feel, a little more fruit would be better but I like it.

Stack the Racks : This was the WOTN for many of the 12 of us gathered tonight. It was dark and enticingly earthy. Fabulous nose and a wonderful finish. Highly recommend!

Brief very non-technical note here… still extremely enjoyable, very nice balance of fruit with tertiary aromas and flavors. Super enjoyable with tri tip and pork ribs and vegan sides. We really like this stuff. Great producers who are also wonderful people.

Dark red with a tinge of purple. Loads of fresh dark cherry and plum (not dried/raisin). Mocha and caramel notes. Finishes with a hint of smoked meat. Tame/mild tannin. Good acidity and surprisingly balanced and not hot for a 15.3%, didn't notice the alcohol until the bottle was finished. Drinking well now, would drink up within the next year or two.

Nice meaty Syrah nose and ample fruit on the palate. Not a lot of tannic structure so I wouldn't hold on to these for too much longer.

Bright and clean with good structure and less flesh than most Central coast Rhones. Ryan consistently makes some of the most compelling offerings from the area. Outstanding!
