Fruit driven, quite soft on the nose smells quite balanced On the palate a little acidic, though not hot... quite tannic on the finish ... it had an hour in the glass, so perhaps another year in the bottle Overall it feels like reasonably balanced cabernet, if not just tad rough around the edges ... I like this wine, it has promise ... especially considering it was a cheapy supermarket purchase.... Not a Penfolds Grange nor a D'Arenberg Dead Arm, …

Disappointing. Thin, herbal, and finishes short. Tart red fruit framed by...mentholic green pepper notes. Day two was worse. I've liked some d'Arenberg wines and am generally a cheerleader of Aussie options, but this is not nearly one of them. I wasn't the only one who dumped this down the drain.
