Much better this time. Definite cassis nose with corresponding fruit flavours, smooth tannins, a pleasure to drink. It went much better this time with a dish of braised lamb and butter beans.

This fell flat when we opened up, it couldn't stand up to grilled lamb ribs and seemed weak and bland. A sip of the considerable leftovers showed fruit and spice so the jury is still open.
