upon opening, had a distinct sulfur aroma. However, this quickly dissipated. The wine was ok upon the first glass, but fell apart for the second. I would drink up now as I can't see this wine getting any better.

Interesting nose. Grilled meats, tobacco, tar. Tannic & mouth-drying, earthy, muddled. Excellent color, nice legs. Looking forward to the 05, 04, and 03.

Popped and poured with Vinturi - some initial heat on the nose, and tannic - gave it some air - got smoother, would describe it as a pleasant enough Cabernet, but would not call it anything special - nice daily drinker and a good QPR at Woot deal price but would not buy again.

Rasberry and pepper on the nose, distinct tannins, and some leather, vanilla and pepper in the mouth. Not a big fruit wine. Don't know if it'll improve with age but I'll put a bottle up to see. Certainly a good QPR.

Red fruit and sweet tarts on nose. Cherries at first, followed by some cranberry and licorice. Not a lot of oak. Pretty tight acid, med tannins. Medium length finish. This wine is ok, and an ok value at around $15, but probably will not seek a re-buy.

Older versions of their cab were amazing and I have that admit that I was rather disappointed with this one as well as the last Folkendt estate that I tasted. Simply a loss of full body and overall chocolately richness.
