Following an exceptional magnum of the 1995 Cristal Rose is anyway tough, and this 2014 was very young and tight, not revealing much. Yes, the Cristal elegance and airiness is there and the wine is harmoz but this is not that interesting to drink today. Even with quite some air and time, the wine remained tight and muted. Better wait another 10+ years.

informal dinner, short notes. - Extremely fresh fruit, clear, gentle, not yet very aromatic, has mandarins, lemons. A little difficult to judge after a bottle of 1995 Cristal, seems a little too simple and a lot less complex. - Compared to Dom Perignon 08 rosé less complex, rather one-sided but very precise in style.
